Building Stronger Marriages: The HFI Marriage Summit
This February, church leaders and couples from across the state gathered at Williams Baptist University for the HFI Marriage Summit, a powerful event focused on strengthening marriages and equipping churches to support families. Hosted by ABCFM’s Healthy Family Initiative (HFI), the summit provided wisdom, encouragement, and practical tools to help pastors and church leaders cultivate Christ-centered, lasting marriages within their congregations.
A Day of Encouragement & Equipping
The event featured an impactful keynote session with Kenny Sanderfer, LMFT, who shared invaluable insights on building strong, healthy marriages. His expertise in marriage counseling and passion for biblical relationships provided attendees with both practical strategies and spiritual encouragement.
In addition to Kenny’s message, attendees participated in workshops and discussions centered on the "State of the Marriage Union," exploring ways churches can strengthen and protect marriages within their communities. Worship, led by Corey Epps, set a tone of reflection and renewal as couples and leaders united in prayer for marriages in Arkansas.
