WELCOME
Welcoming vulnerable children in their most urgent time of need is the most faithful step of obedience we can take as followers of Christ. We understand the complexictes of foster care. That’s why we equip missional families with the option to welcome children through private foster care.
We provide comprehensive foster care services through training, licensing, placement, and case management. Our goal is missional families connected to quality services, resulting in children connected to equipped homes and achieving healthy outcomes.

Advocates are trained and supported volunteers who are paired with families in our family care program, creating a healthy support system for our families. While our dedicated staff assists families in achieving their case plan goals, advocates offer personalized support, walking alongside families every step of the way.
As an advocate, your role is to support families by building lasting relationships and creating a healthy support system. You help families navigate positive changes by focusing on spiritual growth, financial stability, health, parenting, relationships, and time management. By strengthening them to establish secure boundaries, you empower families to create stability. Your consistency and presence, even in tough times, will model the Gospel and guide families towards Jesus Christ.

Advocacy is a Biblical mentorship model where Godly men and women of faith walk with at-risk single parents providing spiritual and practical guidance.

What is “Friendraising”?
At ABCFM, we believe every follower of Christ is missionally called to serve the most vulnerable, and we recognize that each believer has unique gifts and passions.
We offer opportunities for everyone to find their missional place for Gospel impact, empowering church and community members to create meaningful change.
Our “Friendraising” events are special gatherings focused on building relationships rather than raising funds. These open house events are designed to be ask-free, providing a relaxed environment to introduce our mission and work at one of our locations. Attendees learn about the needs across our state to serve vulnerable children and families, as well as the impactful solutions we offer. Our goal is to cultivate genuine connections and community support, without the pressure of immediate financial contributions. Join us in making a difference through friendraising!

A STORY OF HOPE
Your Impact at Work
Jess, a single mother, turned to our adoption agency for help. Struggling with abuse, neglect, addiction, and abandonment, and 19 weeks pregnant with her fifth child, she sought a new path for herself and her unborn baby. Initially considering adoption, Jess's true desire was to parent her child, a goal our adoption specialists helped her realize.
Our adoption services, funded by donors, offered Jess a chance to change her life trajectory. With the support of these generous contributions, Jess was able to move into one of our Desired Haven homes, providing her with a safe place to live and receive parenting and life skills training.
The birthday party room, funded by generous donations, became a symbol of the love and support surrounding Jess and baby E, as we celebrated her son’s first birthday.
A volunteer advocate played a crucial role in Jess’s transformation, offering unwavering support and guidance. This advocate stood by Jess through every challenge, helping her embrace sobriety and parent her son with love and determination.
Jess’s story is a powerful testament to resilience and the transformative impact of community support. Her journey from struggle to strength showcases how donors and volunteers can profoundly impact the lives of the most vulnerable. We are inspired by Jess and remain committed to providing the resources and support that empowers children and families to experience the futures God has for them.
